Park Minjeong is a Korean artist based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia, working mainly with paper to explore a wide range of forms and textures. She works primarily with discarded materials, drawn from the excess of contemporary consumption. By gathering what is carelessly thrown away, she transforms overlooked fragments into sculptural objects with renewed purpose. Her practice is driven by a strong sense of responsibility to reimagine waste and offer it a meaningful second life.

Working across sculpture, furniture, and objects, she moves freely between the functional and the sculptural — finding that the most interesting work lives in the tension between the two.
